Bespoked 2018 is a wrap

Team ColourBolt returns to brilliant Bristol once again

The team are back from another Bespoked 2018 Handmade Bicycle Show, and what a show it was. Along with the usual ooh-ing and ah-ing over lustrous paintwork and feats of engineering wizardry, we enjoyed meeting up with a whole host of folks – both new faces and firm friends. It was nice to see that the newly specced Black Nylon caught the eye of Brooks England, wearing as it was a newly-minted Cambium All-Weather Saddle with matching bar tape. Their write-up from the show is over on their blog if you care to check it out.

Included here are some more of the gorgeous shots their photographer, Jim Holland, took of our Black Nylon.

Also catching the eye was our Black Belter urban destroyer. Propelled with a Gates Carbon belt drive and constructed in hefty, oversized tubing, it really tickled the fancies of the boys over at N+1 Blog. Go check out their wonderful and extremely enthusiastic write-up of the show.

As well as spending much of the show chatting to the public, we were delighted to spend a little bit of time with reporters from local news outlet Bristol Live, who came down to the Brunel Engine House at Temple Meads to get a flavour of what Bespoked is all about. You can watch their video, featuring ColourBolt founder Jay, below.

As always, we must thank Phil, Tessa and the whole team behind Bespoked 2018, without whom the world of British bicycle building would be all the poorer.
